The home features two bedrooms, an open plan with central open stair and energy efficient design. The
detailing and overall appearance incorporate nautical imagery.

The design creates a strong relationship between the interior spaces and the
marine environment. An exterior hot tub and deck space provide an outdoor living
area close to the water for the owners.

home incorporates generous natural light throughout the interior and provides
excellent outside access onto decks beside the water.

Fraser River.

A small 42 sm (450 sf) floating home with a loft on a 15 foot by 20 foot wood pontoon.
The plan is designed to be an efficient, compact layout with a sense of space and
close relationship with the adjacent water surroundings. Careful placement of
windows brings light into the home and provides good visual contact with the
waterscape.

An eighteen unit floating home community involving the design of four floor plans
with alternate elevations as part of a large development at Sanctuary Cove near
Brisbane in Australia. Chernoff Thompson Architects developed a site layout for
the homes, and designed a floating dock system.
