A new 4,250 sm Integrated Science Centre & 3,700 sm Western Campus Redevelopment Project to provide new and renovated facilities
for the University-College to accommodate additional student spaces. The vision is to maximize the integration of Science and Technology programs, currently
housed in four separate buildings, into a new Integrated Science Centre. The centre will include the International Centre for Sturgeon Studies and
renovations for Liberal Studies, Arts, Music and Education. (JCTA)

Set on a scenic and secluded area od DND property, the Pacific Activity Centre services CFB Esquimalt, offering Day Care facilities, an assembly hall/gymnasium, conference rooms and office space.
A double-height atrium space, storefront glazing, and light wells in the corridor all help to ensure that the interior recieves ample amounts of natural lighting.
As part of a design-build team, we saw this project successfully through working drawings and construction. (JGA)

The program for this project called for facilities to provide food service for 1000 cadets in an "austere environment", designed mainly for summer usage.
The cadet dining hall was conceived as a lightweight "tent-like" form to be distict from the all year use and service areas which are represented by a heavier steel clad warehouse form. (JGA)

This project involved major additions and renovations to the existing building while maintaining constant operation and completion guaranteed for the start of the school term.
Highlights include a dramatic S-curve steel canopy over the main entrance, a double height glazed curtain wall facade, steel columns supporting cantilevered beams, and sun shading devices.
This treatment successfully reinterpreted the bookstore's image and gave new life to an important aspect of the University. (JGA)

Originally built in 1948 and the subject of several additions and renovations since, Ruth King Elementary School required numerous upgrades to comply with curent Building Code regulations and
acceptable standards of function and appearance. Serious issues such as exiting and life safety were addressed with innovative and cost-effective solutions. The school can now effectively and
safely serve its function in the community once again. (JGA)
